FAQs
What types of FAP lined valves and pipes lined valves do you offer?
We offer lined ball valves (2 pc design), plug valves, diaphragm valves, butterfly valves, swing check valves, ball check valves, sampling valves, flush bottom valves and globe valves. They can be lever operated, gear operated or actuator operated.
Which lining materials are available?
Lining options are FAP, PFA, FEP, PVDF, ETFE, PP and HDPE. Available linings vary by product, so please mention your requirement when enquiring.
What is the maximum temperature for each lining?
FAP and PFA are suitable up to 200°C, FEP up to 160°C, ETFE up to 140°C, PVDF up to 130°C, PP up to 90°C and HDPE up to 70°C.
What is the lining thickness and flange standard?
The minimum lining thickness is 3 mm. Flange connections are as per ANSI B16.5, #150 or as per customer requirement.
How are your lined products tested?
Valves are hydraulically tested (body 15 kg/cm², seat 11 kg/cm²), pneumatically tested (seat 6 kg/cm²) and spark tested at 15 KVDC. Lined pipes and fittings are hydraulically tested at 20 kg/cm² and spark tested at 15 KVDC.
What size range do you manufacture?
Sizes depend on the product. For example, lined ball valves are available from 15 NB to 200 NB, butterfly valves from 50 NB to 400 NB, lined pipes from 15 NB to 200 NB, and blind flanges and spacers from 15 NB to 350 NB.
What is the maximum length of a lined pipe?
The maximum pipe length is 3 meter. Lined pipes are supplied with one loose flange and one fixed flange, in jacketed and non jacketed options.
Can you make custom or non-standard sizes?
Yes. Special finishes, non-standard dimensions and custom FAP requirements can be considered as per your application needs. Please share your drawing or requirement with us.
How to choose the right lined product for my needs?
Choose based on the chemical and its concentration, operating temperature, pressure, line size and connection type. Share your details with us and we will help you select the right lining and product.
